Heat Sink Medium

In electronics applications, a heat sink is a heat exchanger that transfers the heat generated by an electronic device to an attached material made with aluminium or copper from where it is dissipated away from the device, thereby allowing regulation of the device's temperature. It helps the electronic component to improve its performance and extend its life.
A heat sink sometimes incorporates a fan or other mechanism to reduce the temperature of a electronic hardware component, such as a processor or a high power transistor.
Basically heat sinks are of two types.
1. Passive Heat Sinks
2. Active Heat Sinks
In this category we have listed heat sinks of medium sizes that are used with electronic components such as medium to high power transistors, regulators, processor chips etc. We have listed heat sinks of different types and sizes to suit many applications in DIY, electronics prototyping, OEM replacement and industrial uses.
